QRAlarm Terms of Use

Effective: September 23, 2026

Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using QRAlarm (the "App"), built by GImpactApps ("we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use QRAlarm.

QRAlarm is distributed through the Apple App Store, so Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Where these terms conflict with Apple's, Apple's terms take precedence.

License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use QRAlarm on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use.

Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of QRAlarm, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
  • Rent, lease, sell, sublicense, or otherwise redistribute QRAlarm.
  • Use QRAlarm for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that could damage, disable, or impair it.
  • Circumvent the QR mission mechanic in order to resell or distribute a modified version of the App.

Alarms are not guaranteed — please read this

QRAlarm uses the notification and audio facilities that iOS provides. It is a convenience, not a safety-critical or life-critical system, and you should not rely on it alone for anything where failing to wake up would cause harm.

QRAlarm cannot ring if your device is powered off, out of battery, has notifications disabled for the App, or is in a Focus mode that blocks time-sensitive notifications. We do not guarantee that an alarm will sound at the scheduled time, at any particular volume, or at all. Keep notifications enabled, keep the phone charged, and don't force-quit the App before bed.

You are responsible for keeping your QR code accessible. If a mission's code is lost or destroyed, or the mission is deleted, the alarm falls back to a "hold to stop" control so you are never locked out — but you remain responsible for managing your own alarms and codes.

Your content

Alarms, QR missions, and statistics you create stay on your device. You are responsible for them, and for any device backups you choose to make. We have no copy of your data and cannot restore it for you.

Purchases and subscriptions

QRAlarm Premium is available as an auto-renewing monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to the App Store's payment and refund policies.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel them in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Free trial offers, where available, convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends. Refund requests go to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com; we cannot issue refunds directly.

Free-tier limits (2 alarms, 1 QR mission, two alarm tones, basic statistics) and the contents of Premium may change in future versions.

Privacy

Your use of QRAlarm is also governed by our Privacy Policy. QRAlarm collects no personal information; everything stays on your device.

Intellectual property

QRAlarm, including its design, code, graphics, sounds, and name, is owned by GImpactApps or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. Nothing in these terms grants you rights in QRAlarm other than the limited license above.

Updates and availability

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue QRAlarm or any part of it at any time, with or without notice.

Disclaimer of warranties

QRAlarm is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that QRAlarm will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any alarm will ring as scheduled.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GImpactApps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any missed appointment, missed obligation, lost opportunity, lost data, or other loss arising from an alarm that did not ring or could not be stopped. Our total liability for any claim relating to QRAlarm shall not exceed the amount you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim, or zero if you paid nothing.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to QRAlarm if you breach these terms. You may stop using QRAlarm at any time by uninstalling it. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will survive.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as QRAlarm evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.
