Privacy Policy — Do Nothing
_Last updated: 5 october, 2026
This policy explains how the Do Nothing app ("the app"), made by [DEVELOPER NAME] ("we", "us"), handles your information. The short version: we don't collect any data about you.
What we collect
Nothing. The app has no account or sign-up. It sends no data to us or to anyone else. It has no ads, analytics services, tracking or third-party SDKs.
Data stored on your device
To work, the app saves the following on your iPhone only:
- Your sessions: start time, duration, mode and result
- Your streaks, personal records, achievements and challenges
- Your settings, such as theme, reminders and custom messages
- Simple usage counters, for example how many sessions you've started. These never leave your device, and you can turn them off in Settings.
We can't access any of this. The app's widget reads a small summary (your streak and today's time) from shared storage on the same device.
Deleting your data: go to Settings › Erase All Data in the app, or delete the app. If your iPhone backs up to iCloud or a computer, the app's data may be included in that backup. Apple handles those backups under its own privacy policy.
Permissions
- Notifications (optional): used only for reminders and to tell you when a session reaches its goal. They are scheduled on your device.
- Photos, add-only (optional): used only to save share cards that you choose to save. The app can't see your photo library.
Purchases
Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your name, email or payment details. The app only checks with Apple whether you have an active Premium purchase. See Apple's privacy policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
Sharing
The app shares only what you choose to share, such as a share card or a "Can you beat it?" link. A challenge link contains only a session time and mode, nothing that identifies you.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
